Astrolabe Portfolio Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 23, 2026
Astrolabe Portfolio is designed as a private portfolio and bookkeeping app. We do not operate a backend account system for the app, and we do not sell user data.
Information You Store In The App
You may enter portfolio holdings, asset names, transaction records, bookkeeping records, recurring plans, notes, currencies, and related financial details. This data is stored on your device. If iCloud Auto Sync is enabled, it is also stored in your own private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit service.
We do not run our own server to collect or host these core records.
iCloud Sync
iCloud sync is provided by Apple. Your synced app data is associated with your Apple Account and stored in your private iCloud database. The availability of iCloud sync depends on your iCloud account status, device settings, network connection, and Apple's services.
AI Recognition
If you choose to use AI recognition for transaction or trade parsing, the text you provide for recognition may be sent to the configured AI service, currently DeepSeek, so the service can return structured results. Do not submit sensitive information that you do not want processed by that third-party provider.
Market Data And News
When you search symbols, refresh prices, exchange rates, historical prices, or news, the app may send the relevant symbol, search query, or asset name to external market data or news providers such as Yahoo Finance, Tencent Finance, Bing News, or similar services. These providers process requests under their own privacy terms.
Subscriptions And Purchases
Subscriptions, free trials, payments, refunds, and cancellation flows are handled by Apple through the App Store. The app uses Apple's StoreKit framework to check entitlement status. We do not receive your full payment card information.
Diagnostics And Analytics
Astrolabe Portfolio does not include a custom analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK. Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store and crash information according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.
Your Choices
- You can disable iCloud Auto Sync in the app settings.
- You can delete app data from your device by deleting records in the app or removing the app from your device.
- You can manage subscriptions in iOS Settings under your Apple Account subscriptions.
